Short-Stay Visa Guide

If you plan to visit Germany for tourism, business, or to visit family for up to 90 days, you may need a Schengen Visa. This allows free travel across all 27 Schengen countries.

Processing Time: Usually 15 days, but can take up to 45 days during peak seasons (summer/holidays).

Checklist

  • Passport: Valid for at least 3 months beyond departure.
  • Itinerary: Round-trip flight reservation.
  • Accommodation: Hotel booking or invitation letter.
  • Insurance: Coverage of at least €30,000.
